Our Story: From Dining Table to Destiny

Kaíra was born in the quiet pause between chaos and clarity.

At my dining table—with my newborn napping beside me and my heart full of questions—I made the decision that would change everything. I had just walked away from my job. The pressure, the pace, and the constant pull away from my family became too loud to ignore. After having my youngest son, I craved presence. I craved freedom. I craved something of my own.

I didn’t plan to start a handbag company. But maybe it was already written.

One afternoon, I reached for one of my old bags—a bag that had seen meetings, missed dinners, daycare pickups, and dreams on hold. Inside it, I found two-year-old paychecks I never cashed. I laughed. I cried. And then I knew: it was time to turn the page.

That bag became my “lucky” bag. The one that reminded me I’d been carrying the next chapter all along.
